The ALMA Regional Center (Taiwan-ARC) of ASIAA and the UCAT Center for ALMA Science Advancement (tuCASA) of the University Consortium of ALMA-Taiwan (UCAT) are pleased to host jointly the ALMA User Workshop 2015 for potential ALMA users in Taiwan.

The call for proposal for ALMA Cycle 3 (link to be added) will be issued on March 24, 2015. The ALMA User Workshop 2015 is designed for the preparation of ALMA Cycle 3 proposals, and is aimed for graduate students, postdocs, faculty members and people who are interested in observing with ALMA.

The programs of the ALMA User Workshop 2015 include:

1. ALMA progress report and Cycle 3 capabilitiy
2. ALMA Polarization/Long-baseline observations
3. Suggestions of ALMA proposal preparation
4. Observing Tool
5. Correlator and Splatalogue
6. CASA simulation
7. Discussion/hands-on

Action items before coming to the workshop:

1. read through the ALMA ES Primer and the Science Web pages
2. have the latest version of OT and CASA installed in your laptop
