Announcement
The Theoretical Institute for Advanced Research in Astrophysics (TIARA) of the Institute of Astronomy and Astrophysics (ASIAA) of Academia Sinica is holding a workshop in Taipei, Taiwan, entitled "The First Hundred Million Years of the Solar System" during 2013 November 4-8.
The tentative topics include the origin of the solar system, planet formation and early environments of the Earth and Mars. Experts worldwide on the aforementioned topics will get together to discuss constraints obtained through laboratory (cosmochemical and geochemical), theoretical and observational approaches. We welcome all local interested universities and research groups to participate.
The emphasis of this workshop will be on discussions rather than formal presentations. Hence, we envision several talks per day, with the rest of the time devoted to informal discussions and working sessions.
