- It might be helpful to print out the bilingual instructions for taxi drivers/asking directions etc.
- Transportation to ASIAA:
- Please refer to ASIAA website for from international airports to Taipei downtown.
- Visa and Airport:
- Please refer to ASIAA website for more information for foreign visitors.
- Participants from Mainland China:
- The Institute will provide assistance to apply for the Taiwan Entry Permit for PRC residents. Please follow the instructions below to apply for Travel Permit.
- Local Excursion to Hualien Taroko
- Date: June 2, 2012 Itinary
- Cost: NTD 2,500, including lunch, dinner box, round-trip train tickets and shuttles (IAA to Taipei station/Hualien Station to Taroko)
- Registration: Please mark it on the workshop registration form.
- Payment: Please pay cash in NT dollars on site at the registration desk on May 30.
- Cancellation Policy: for any cancellation, please contact the LOC before May 18, a cancellaion fee will be charged to you.

大陸與會者申請來台旅行證
- 必要文件：
- 1. 申請書(下載PDF) - 請記得附上照片，及回答第2頁「申報事項」並親筆簽名
- 2. 最高學歷畢業證書影本
- 3. 個人履歷 - 包含專業領域或特殊技能說明及著作列表
- 4. 工作/在職/在學證明
- 申請費用:
- NTD600 (由中研院天文所先行代墊, 請於會議報到當天繳納)
- 申請流程：
- 1. 將上述1-4文件Email 或傳真至Cindy Chiu邱欣怡小姐

- 2. 將所有必要文件寄送至下列地址

- 注意事項：
- 為加速申請時間，請同時申辦大陸當地通行證。如需邀請函等文件配合，請Email告知。
- 大陸與會者自第三地區非從大陸當地來台申請流程：
- A. 先將上述1-4必要文件Email或傳真後，寄送至上述地址，以辦理邀請單位保證書 。
- B. 待收到文件，辦妥保證書後，會連同其他申請旅行證必要文件寄還。
- C. 請收到後，自行至第三地區當地台灣辦事處申辦旅行證。
- 查詢當地台灣辦事處 內政部入出國及移民署
- D. 申請費用: 請自行於當地辦事處直接繳納
- E. 請告知當地台灣辦事處，旅行證核發將由台灣中研院天文所 邱欣怡小姐 代領（較節省時間）。
- F. 待收到旅行證後寄還。
