Task Description and Goals

The student will explore various radiative transfer effects in the dusty protoplanetary disks, which are key to the understanding of dust grain growth and planet-formation. We will begin will some numerical experiments based on existing software packages. A strong student can proceed to integrate the radiative transfer codes hosted by the CHARMS project to make it state-of-the-art and can publish the results of the tests potentially with some comparison with observational data.
