Oral Presentation
Clustering of galaxies around QSOs at z>3
Presenter: Masayuki Akiyama (Tohoku University)
We are proposing to examine clustering of drop-out Lyman Break Galaxies (LBGs) around high-redshift QSOs (z>3) with the HSC SSP dataset. The strength of the clustering provide us the information on the properties of host dark halos of the high-redshift QSOs and triggering mechanisms of the QSO activities. In order to prepare for the project, we are examining the clustering of u-dropout LBGs selected from the wide survey dataset of CFHTLS and SDSS QSOs at z=3.0-3.5. Based on the results, we will discuss the request for the HSC SSP dataset.
