Gravitationally Lensed QSO Finder in the HSC survey

We are developing a robot to classify the gravitationally lensed quasars in the HSC survey. The search for lensed quasars is motivated by a number of scientific applications from galaxy evolution to cosmology. The good imaging quality of HSC is unique compared to other ongoing large scale surveys, and will allow us to discern between real lens systems and contaminants. We will talk about a detection method for filtering out these contaminants and show some preliminary results.
